Setting up an Email Account in Outlook can be a bit daunting for the novice. The following steps will help make it an easy process in just 5 minutes.

First gather your account infromation. This should have been sent to your Account Administrator when the account was created. You will need:

• Your Email Address
• Your Password
• Incoming Mail Server
• Outgoing Mail Server

Next Lets Open Outlook from the Programs Menu. If this is the first account to be set up in Outlook you will see this screen:

Click Next > to proceed

If you alreay have an account set up and are adding an adidtional account then you will need to go to the File Menu and click on Info

Click the Add Account

You should now see the Account Configuration Email Accounts screen:

Select Yes and click Next >

You should now see the Add New Account Internet Email Settings screen:

Enter Information as Follows:

User Information

Your Name:  This is your name as you want it to appear as the Sender
Email Address:  Your email address

Server Information

Account Type:  Select POP3
Incoming mail Server:  Enter your incoming mail server or pop.levelfieldhelp.com (either will work)
Outgoing Mail Server:  Enter your outgoing mail server or smtp.levelfieldhelp.com (either will work)

Login Information:

User Name:  Enter your Full EMail Address
Password: Enter your password exactly as created.  It is case senstiive

Check Remember Password
Uncheck Require login using Secure Password Authentication

Under Test Account Settings  Uncheck Test Account Settings by clicking the Next Button

Deliver new messages to:

Select New Outlook Data File

Click More Settings .....

You should now have the Tabbed Internet Email Settings PopUp

In the General Tab Fill in the Name you want to identify with this account.

In the Outgoing server screen:

Check my outgoing server (STMP) requires authentication
Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server

In the Advance Tab

Incomgin Server:  110

Do not check This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL).  If it is checked please uncheck it.

Outoging server (SMTP) 465

User the following type of encrypted connection:  None

Click OK to continue

Click Finish

Your email account should not be set up and operational!
