Levelfield / Online Agency requires all recipients of our customers newsletters sent through our Email Marketing program to complete a Double Opt-in process.  This means that when a customer registers with the site and subscribes to the newsletter then receive an email with a confirmation link to verify that they want to receive the newsletter.

Why does Levelfield / Online Agency us a double opt-in system?

We use a double opt-in system to remain compliant with the commercial email policies of many major email providers such as AOL, Yahoo!, MSN/Hotmail, Verizon, Comcast, TimeWarner/RoadRunner and many other Internet service providers.   Additionally, it is likely that The CAN-SPAM Act will be amended to require that list operators only send to double opt-in lists.  Mailing list operators that do not use a a double opt-in system are more likely to have their email messages blocked as spam and not be seen by their target audience.
